Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Fancy 1 Gallon Harvest Jug. 

 

Dating around 1880, this beauty was made by J.H. Waggoner & Co., Beaver County, Pennsylvania.  They operated around 1880.  This jug is pictured and identified as a Waggoner by Phil Schaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 138, 140.   

 

This beauty features a Roped Handle Poised on Leaves, the Filling and Drinking Spouts, and Applied Floral Decoration on all Four Sides.  Rich chocolate coloration.  Stands 11" tall.

 

Excellent Condition.  A 3/8" flake on one applied flower.  Otherwise, as made.
