Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this great 1 Gallon Stoneware Jug made by "Hamilton and Jones, Greensboro, PA." 
 
This is the work of Frank Hamilton and John Jones who worked in Greensboro, Pennsylvania from 1865 to 1897 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157). 
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features the Company Advertising in an Arch Over a Tulip.  Stands 11 34" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  A 1/2" chip on the left side of the spout.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A 1/2" chip on the right side of the handle is in the making and glazed over.
