    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Unusual Tall and Slender Stoneware Canning Jar from Southwestern Pennsylvania (pobably Beaver, PA).

     

    Circa 1870 this beauty features a Tooled Rim with Narrow Opening, Two Faint Stripes around the Shoulder, and a Freehand Tulip Decoration.  Stands 9 1/4" tall. 

     

    Very Good Condition. A 1" chip on the rim on the left side, and a  1/4" chip on the underside at the edge.  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.

     

    Ships double-boxed, insured, and FREE.
