Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this fantastic 10 Gallon Stoneware Jar made by "Hamilton and Jones, Agents, Greensboro, PA." 
 
This is the work of Frank Hamilton and John Jones who worked in Greensboro, Pennsylvania from 1865 to 1897 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157). 
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features a Tooled Semi-Squared Rim, Tooled Shoulder, the Company Advertising Surrounding a Floral and Framed by a Floral Wreath, and a Capacity Number framed by Leaves at the Bottom.  Stands 20 3/4" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  Some glaze wear and light stains and some glaze loss at the bottom of the left side (closeup).  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
