Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Jar made by "Hamilton & Jones, Greensboro, PA."  
 
This is the work of Frank Hamilton and John Jones who worked in Greensboro, PA from 1865 to 1897 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157). 
 
Circa 1870, this beauty sports Four Lines of Company Advertising Framed by Tulips on All Four Corners and Decorated by Leaves and a Garland within.  Stands 8" tall. 
 
Good Condition.  Chips along the bottom of the overhanging rim. No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
