Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Granddaddy of Script Crocks.  This 5 gallon crock was made for the "Gr. [Great] China and Pacific Tea Co., 1191 Washington St."  
 
Dating about 1880, this beauty features 3 Lines of Large Cobalt Script Advertising in Bright Cobalt.  The large 5 gallon size gave the decorator lots of room to write and he or she took it!  Measures 12" tall and 13" across the top.
 
Good Condition. One narrow chip on the back rim.  Three tight hairlines from the rim:  7" behind the left hande, 4" in the back center, and 4" behind the right handle (closeup of the longest one inside).  No inner rim or base chips, stains, or restoration.
