Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Crock made and stamped by the "Fulper Bros., Flemington, N. J."
This is the mark of George Fulper and his brothers who ran the family pottery under this arrangement from 1881-1898 (M. Lelyn Branin, The Early Makers of Handcrafted Earthenware and Stoneware in Central and Southern New Jersey, pp. 132-137).
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Folky Bird on a Branch Decoration. Measures 9 1/2" tall and 10" wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. A 1 1/4" chip on the rim in the back, and a 3/4" chip on the underside of the left handle. No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
