Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Cream Pot made and stamped by "Evan R. Jones, Pittston, Pa."
 
Jones potted in Pittston in the 1870's and 1880's (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 34-37).
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Large Brushed Cobalt Sideways Tulip.  The tulip has 6 leaves and a blossom with 3 petals.  Measures 8 1/4" tall and 8 1/2" wide across the top.
 
Very Good Condition.  Two minor 1/8" nibbles on the rim, a 1/4" chip on the right handle, and overalll modest wear from use.  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
