Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Crock made by the "E. P. Co."
 
This is the mark of the Enterprise Pottery Company of New Brighton, Pennsylvania that ran from the 1880's to the 1920's (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, p. 142).
 
Made about 1880, this beauty features the Capacity Number Framed by Leaves and the Company Initials in Large 2" Letters.  Measures 9 1/4" tall and 9 1/2" wide across the top. 
 
Excellent Condition. Some scattered light stains. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
