Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon 1 Gallon Jar made by "Eneix & Evans,New Geneva, PA."  
 
This is the work of James Eneix and William Evans who joined forces to produce pottery in 1879, but the venture was shortlived.  Phil Shaltenbrand states, "Rare pieces that display the names of Joseph Eneix and William Evans do exist" (Big Ware Turners, p. 166).  Here's one!
 
This jar features a Tooled Rim and the Company Advertising in Four Lines with Leaf Accents at the Bottom.  Stands 9 3/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Minor wear around the inside of the rim.  That's it!  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
