Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Billhead from the E. & L. P. Norton Stoneware Company of Bennington, Vermont.  It is dated August 5, 1867. 
 
Edward Norton and Luman Preston Norton, the son of Julius Norton, worked together in the family pottery from 1861-1881 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 44).
 
This billhead has a picture of the pottery in the upper left.  The order form inclues pictures and descriptions of jugs, butter pots, cream pots, churns, preserve jars, fruit jars, butter pots, cake pots, pitchers, flower pits, stove tubes, Rockingham ware, dog handled pitchers, and tea pots.  Measures 14" by 8 1/4"
