Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Hand-Sculpted Standing Lion Figural on a Plinth.
 
Dating around 1900, this beauty was not made in a mold, but hand-crafted by a fairly skilled artisan.  Well-proportioned with life-like facial features, flowing mane, and strong body.  Albany slip glaze.  Measures 7" long, 3" wide, and 7" tall.  
 
Very Good Condition with Minor Restoration.  About 6 minor nibbles and as many larger narrow flakes on the mane (1/4" to 1/2"),  minor nibbles and a 1/4" chip on the plinth, and restoration to the tip of the chin and ears.  No hairlines, cracks, or stains.
