Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Decorated Jar made for "E. J. Miller, Son, & Co.  Importers & Wholesale Dealers in Queensware, China and Glassware, & Home Furnishing Goods, No 65 King St., Alexandria, VA."
 
This jar was made in SW Pennsylvania, and I suspect by T. F. Reppert of Greensboro ( I have seen a couple of these jars with the Reppert stencil on the back ).
 
Dating around 1885, this beauty features Two Top and On Bottom Stripe that Frame Eight Lines of Advertising and a Freehand Capacity Number Framed by Leaves off to the Right.  A Sunrise Graces the Center!  Stands 11 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Some light, scattered surface wear.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
