Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Jar made for "Cruikshank Bros. Co., Preserves, Jellies, Fruit Butters.  Allegheny, PA." 
 
Dating around 1900, this beauty features the Advertising in Four LInes within a Rectangular Border, a Star within a Circle at the Shoulder, and the Original Bail Handle.  Measures 7" tall and 7 1/2" wide across the bottom.  
 
Very Good Condition.  A small y-shaped inbody hairline to the right of the label (closeup), a minor x-shaped surface craze line behind the right handle holder as shown, and some light scattered staining.  No rim or base chips, cracks, or restoration.
