Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Pitcher in a Barrel Shape.
 
Dating around 1900, this beauty features the Form of a Barrel with Embossed Wooden Staves and Metal Hoopes, and Gorgeous Blue Sponging.  Stands 6 1/4" tall.
 
These typically come in a multi-colored sponged glaze, but this one has a very uncommon pure blue and white sponging.  
 
Excellent Condition.  Two very shallow flakes on the spout (1/8", 1/4"- closeup), and a 1/4" chip on the base.  That's it!  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
