Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous 1 Gallon Stoneware Jar from Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Circa 1880, this beauty features a Lidded Jar Form, Tooled Rim, and 3 Broad Brushed Cobalt Stripes that Wrap Halfway Around. An unusual striper for the form and the broad stripes. Stands 10 1/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. A 3/8" flake on the rim in the back. That's it! No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. A 1/4" clay void on the front left and mottled glaze in the making.
