Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous 2 Gallon Jar whose helf and glaze indicate to me that it is from Beaver, Pennsylvania.
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Brushed Cobalt Floral Burst Decoration. Four leaves burst forth from a circular center with four additional leaves accenting the spaces in between. The blue is exquisite and really pops on the light gray glaze. Stands 11" tall.
Excellent Condition. Light, scattered traces of water glass staining. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
