    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous 4 Gallon Churn from Southwestern Pennsylvania.

     

    Circa 1870, this beauty features a Tall and Slender Form, Flared Rim, Inscribed Shoulder, Applied Handles with Cobalt Accent, Impressed Capacity Number with Cobalt Accent, and a Large Brushed Cobalt Vine with Three Tulip Blossoms Flowing Across the Front.  A nice light gray glaze with bright and shiny cobalt.  Stands 17 1/4" tall.

     

    Very Good Condition.  The only apology is a neatly drilled hole in the bottom.  Otherwise it is a made.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
