Coming  to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon 1/2 Gallon Butter Crock from Southwestern Pennsylvania.  

 

Circa 1870, this beauty features a Grooved Rim for Ease of Tying a Cover Over the Top, and Three Cobalt Stripes Down the Front-- the Center One being Wavy.  Measures 5 3/4" tall and 6 1/4" wide across the top. 

 

Very Good Condition. Some staining and mild surface wear from use.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
