Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jar whose heft and decoration indicate that it was made in Beaver, Pennsylvania.
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features Tooled Rim with a Ring inside for a Lid, and a Column of Loops Down the Front framed on each side by Three Vertical Squiggles.  Stands 11 3/4" tall.  
 
Very Good Condition.  A 1 1/4" chip on the rim and a 1" hairline on the bottom of the left side that wraps under 2" (closeup).  No inner rim or base chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.
