Item 6744
Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous 2 Gallon Stoneware Jar from Beaver, Pennsylvania.
Circa 1860, this beauty features a Finely Tooled Rim, Light Gray Glaze, and a Large Brushed Cobalt Tulip Garland filling the Front. The garland has 7 leaves and two blossoms with 6 petals each. Eye-pleasing contrast between the light gray glaze and the cobalt garland. Stands 12 1/2" tall.
Excellent Condition. Minor nibbles on the inner rim where a lid would sit. That's it! No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. Two faint kiln touches and a worn salt drip on the back in the making.
