Item 4876
Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 1/2 Gallon Lidded Jar whose decoration indicates that it was made by one of the potteries in Beaver, Pennsylvania.
Dating around 1860, this beauty features a Solid Construction with Elaborately Tooled Rim, a Floral Garland of Brushed Cobalt Vining and Two Tulips, and an original lid. Stands 10 1/2" tall.
Excellent Condition. Six minor 1/4" or less nibbles inside the rim, and a 1/2" surface ping line on the back bottom. That's it! No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. The lid has a 1/4" chip on the knob (the rest of the chip is in the manufacture), and four minor nibbles on the edge (1/8" to 3/8"). No other apologies.
