Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Jug made for "The Geo.W. Umbach Company, Wholesale Liquors, Hanover & Perry Sts., Baltimore, MD."
 
The jug was made and stamped on the back bottom by the "Sherwood Bros. Pottery, New Brighton, PA." 
 
Dating around 1900-1920 prior to Prohibition, this beauty features Five Lines of Advertising in a Rectangular Frame.  Stands 11 3/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A very narrow 1/2" flake on the bottom of the right side.  That's it!  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
