Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Interesting 1 Gallon Jug made for "Carbonol, The Coal Tar Disinfectant, The Barrett Manufacturing Co., Boston."
 
It was made and stamped on the bottom by the "R. C. P. Co., Akron, O.," the Robinson Clay Products Company of Akron, Ohio. This company was in existence from 1900-1915.
 
This beauty features the Advertising in 5 Lines Surronding a Tree as a Trade Mark.  Stands 11 3/4" tall.  
 
​​​​​​​Excellent Condition.  An 1/8" nibble inside the spout, a 1/4" flake on the left side shoulder, and two small chips on the heel in the back (1/4", 3/8").  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Three chips on the bottom in the making (1/4", 3/8", 1").
