Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this pretty Blue and White Spongeware Tea Ball Container.
Dating to the mid-20th century, this beauty contained balls of dried tea. I know this because I have had one with the original paper label on the bottom.
This beauty features a Pot Form with Four Legs, Two Handles, and a Lid. Rich cobalt sponging. Stands 4 1/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. A 3/16" chip on top of the rim (11 o'clock in the picture). Otherwise as made.
