Coming to you from Doc's Crock is this Rare 1 Gallon Spongeware Pitcher sometimes called the "Russian Milk Pitcher."  
 
It is pictured in Kathryn McNerney, Blue & White Stoneware, p. 147 as shown above. 
 
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features a Short Straight Rim, Pinched Spout, Sloped Shoulder, Straight Sides, and Blue Sponging.  Stands 8 1/4".
 
Very Good Condition.  An 1/8" nibble inside the rim and a 1/2" chip outside the rim on the left side toward the back as show.  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.   
 
Ships double-boxed, insured, and FREE
