Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful example of the Blue and White Spongeware Pitcher with Controlled Sponging.
 
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features a Flared Base with an Embossed Diamond Pattern Around It.  The sponging is dense, yet patterned with many curls. Strong cobalt and contrast that is very easy on the eyes.  Stands 9" tall.
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind. Imperfection on the bend at the bottom in the making (closeup).
