Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Pillbox Cuspidor.  
 
It was likely made by Pfaltzgraff in York, Pennsylvania.
 
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features the Pillbox Form with Slightly Flared Rim and Blue and White "Puzzle Piece" Sponging.  Measures 5" tall and 8 1/2" wide across the top. 
 
Excellent Condition.  A narrow 3/4" chip on the narrow footer.  Otherwise as made.
