Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Pillbox Cuspidor.  
 
This large size was used in public spaces like Hotels and Bars. 
 
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features the Pillbox Form with Slightly Flared Rim, Top and Bottom Cobalt Stripes, and Strong Blue and White Sponging.  Measures 5 3/4" tall and 10" wide across the top.
