    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this striking Blue and White Hot Water Pitcher in the Banded Pattern.

     

    One nearly identical is pictured in the Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware by Taylor and Lowrance on page 213.

     

    This pitcher features a "Trumpet-Like" Rim, Bulbous Body Perched on a Small Footer, a Splendid Curved Handle, and Very Careful Blue and White Sponging Around Center Stripes.  The cobalt is strong too, just like we like it!  Stands 7 1/8" tall.

     

    Excellent Condition.  A single 1/8" nibble on one side near the bottom. That's it!  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
