Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Hanging Salt Crock.
 
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features an Attractive Shade of Blue and White Sponging with "Salt" Stenciled on the Front.  Measures 5 3/4" tall and wide.
 
Very Good Condition.  An 1/8" nibble on the hanger, minor nibbles around the inner rim, and some glaze loss on the bottom near the sides from use with salt.  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
