Coming to you from Doc's Crock is this Rare 1 Gallon Spongeware Pitcher sometimes called the "Russian Milk Pitcher."  
 
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features a Large Size, Unusual Shape with Squared Rim, Exaggerated Spout, Short Neck, Handle with Thumbgrip, Bulbous Base, and Blue and White Sponging.  Stands 9 3/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A faint H-shaped surface line on one side (closeup).  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
