Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Pitcher from the Mid-Atlantic Region.
 
Dating to the early 20th century, this beauty features a Short and Squatty Form with Wide Pinched Spout, Diminuative Handle, and Carefully Applied Vertical Sponging.  Stands 7 1/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A flat 3/16 flake inside the rim at the spout, and two small chips at the base (3/16", 3/8"). That is it!  No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
