Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Cream Pot made by "A. Conrad, New Geneva, PA."
Alexander Conrad ran the pottery in New Geneva from 1870-1882 before moving to Shinnston, WV (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 164-65).
Dating to the 1870's, this beauty features a Thick Semi-Squared Rim and Three Lines of Advertising with a "Propellor" between Each Line. Measures 6 3/4" tall and 6" wide across the top.
Very Good Condition. A faint 2" vertical hairline on the bottom of the left side that wraps under 1 1/2" (closeup). No chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.
