Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 6 Quart Crock whose decoration indicates that it was made by the potters, Brady and Ryan.
Samuel Brady and John J. Ryan ran their pottery in Ellenville, N.Y. from 1878-1897 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware , p. 66).
This beauty features a Brushed Cobalt Bird Perched on a Branch Decoration. Measures 8 1/2" tall and 9 1/4" wide across the top.
Very Good Condition. A nearly invisible 1" line in the rim (closeup) and some scattered staining. No chips, cracks, or restoration.
