Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 6 Gallon Jug that I attribute to the Sherwood Brothers Pottery of New Brighton, Pennsylvania who ran their pottery from the 1870's to 1900  (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp. 141-42).
 
Dating around 1900, this beauty features a Curvaceous Form, Double Handles, and Top Dipped in Albany Slip Glaze.  Stands 17 3/4" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  A few scratches from use.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
