Coming to you from Doc's Crocks are these Three Mid-19th Century Bottles for One Money. All are cobalt decorated.
On the left is a bottle stamped on the shoulder, "J. B. Folger." Folger was a bottler in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is 12-sided and features a wide cobalt stripe around the neck. Stands 10 3/4" tall.
Very Good Condition. A 1/2" void on the left side from clay impurities, a 1/2" chip at the base, and some staining. No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
In the middle is a bottle stamped on the shoulder, " F. Pfannebecker." Pfannebecker was a bottler in Paterson, New Jersey. It features the entire neck wrapped in cobalt. Stands 10" tall.
Excellent Condition. A 1/4" flake under the rim of the spout, and a narrow 3/4" chip on the underside at the edge. No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. Roughness on the spout is in the making.
On the right is a bottle with the spout dipped in cobalt. Stands 9 1/2" tall.
Excellent Condition. A 1/2" chip under the spout overhang. No top spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
