Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Stoneware Water Cooler from Baltimore, Maryland.  Circa 1850, this beauty features a Thick Squared Rim, Sloping Neck, Applied Handles with Cobalt Accent, Spigot Frame with Cobalt, and Brushed Cobalt Dangling Tulips Around the Shoulder.  The cobalt is rich, shiny, and dark.  Stands 14" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition. Two 1/8" chips inside the rim, two chips outside the rim above the right handle (5/8", 1"), two 1/2" chips on the left handle and three on the right handle, and six chips on the base (1/4" to 1").  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Some residual glue in the inside by the spigot hole where someone glued the spigot in at one time.  A drip on the back where metal ore in the clay melted during the firing.
