Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Stoneware 3 Gallon Crock Lid.
 
Made in the late 19th century, this lid has a Raised Center Portion with Honey Brown Glaze and a Lower Rim in Gray Salt Glaze.  Measures 11 1/2" in diameter and fits in a crock with an opening at least 9 3/16".  
 
Good Condition.  A 3/4" chip on the top edge, a 2 1/2" chip under the outer edge that partially shows on top, and chips around the seating ring as shown.  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A firing line around the knob in the making.
