Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Yellow Ware Barrel Wax Sealer Canning Jar. 
 
It is pictured in Lisa McAllister and John Michel, Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware, Book 1, p. 79. 
 
Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty is in the Form of a Barrel with Three Wide Hoops and Many Vertical Staves.  Wax Sealer Top.  Rich Yellow Coloration.  Stands 6"
 
Excellent Condition.  A few pinhead-sized nibbles on the inner rim and a 1/4" flake outside the rim.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Very clean glaze.
