Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jar made for "Wm Haslage & Co., Grocers and Tea Dealers, No 18 Diamond, Pittsburgh, PA."
 
This jar was made in SW Pennsylvania, probably at Greensboro.
 
Dating about 1880, this beauty features a Two Top and a Bottom Stripe that Frame the 7 Lines of Stenciled Advertising. Stands 10 1/2" tall
 
The reference to "Tea Dealers" adds extra interest.
 
Very Good Condition.  Waterglass staining inside and traces outside.  That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  Slightly out of round in the making. 
 
A very nice piece of Pittsburgh stoneware and business history.
