Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Super 8 1/4" Stoneware 4 Striper Wax Sealer Canning Jar from Southwestern Pennsylvania.
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Tooled Rim with Groove for the Hot Wax Sealant, Tapered Sides, and Four Broad Stripes Down the Front.  Stands 8 1/4" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Nine small chips inside the outer rim (1/8" to 3/8"),  a 1" surface ping line along the bottom edge, and some very light small stains.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
