Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Cream Pot made and stamped by "Whites Utica."
This is a work of Nicholas White and his sons, William and Charles, who ran the family pottery from 1865-1886 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 69-70).
This beauty features a Squared Rim, Inscribed Shoulder, Rounded Sides, and Brushed Cobalt Tulip Leaning to the Left. The decoration has considerable detail and is well-centered on the pot. Measures 7 3/4" tall and 8 1/4" wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. Two minor 1/8" nibbles outside the rim above the left handle, a narrow 1/2" chip on the rim in the back, and two chips on the left handle (1/4", 3/8"). No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
