Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Crock made and stamped "Geddes, N.Y."
This crock was made in Geddes (Syracuse area) probably by Charles Hubbell and Dennison Chesebro (1867-87) (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 70).
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Triple Leaf Decoration made with a Slip Cup in Bright Cobalt. Measures 10 3/4" tall and wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. Two small chips inside the rim (3/16", 5/16"), and a 1/2" chip on back of each handle. That's it! No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
