Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug whose decoration indicates that it was made by N. A. White & Co., Utica, N.Y.
 
It was made by Nicholas White and his sons, William and Charles, who ran the family pottery in Utica, N.Y. from 1865-1886 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware , pp. 70-71).
 
This beauty features a Pine Tree Created by a Single Pour of a Slip Cup.  Stands 11 1/2" tall.
 
Good Condition.  A 1/4" chip on the right side of the spout and some staining from use.  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
