Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Stoneware Cream Pot made and stamped by "Whites Binghamton."
This is the mark of William Roberts, son-in-law of Noah White of Whites Utica Pottery. He founded a branch of the family business in Binghamton in 1848 and ran it until 1888 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, 71).
This beauty features the Larger Cream Pot Form, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and Cobalt Plant Looking Like a Genie Coming Out of a Bottle! Measures 11 1/2' tall and 11" wide across the top.
Very Good Condition. Three narrow chips on the narrow rim (1/2" to 7/8"), a 1/2" chip on the underside at the edge, and a very faint surface craze line under the right handle as shown. No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
