    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Salt Crock with Lid.

     

    This crock was made in the 1920's by the Western Stoneware Company of Monmouth, Illinois (Jim Martin and Bette Cooper, Monmouth-Western Stoneware, p. 130).

     

    This beauty features Blue Stripes on the Top and Bottom that a Large "Salt" Label Framed by Maple Leaves.  Measures 6 1/2" tall to the top of the hanger.  The label is slightly off-center to the right in the making. 

     

    Excellent Condition.  An old inventory number on the bottom. The lid is an old professional replacement. That's it!  Otherwise as made.
