Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made and stamped by the "West Troy Pottery."
This is a mark used by William Warner of West Troy, New York (now Watervliet) from 1843 to 1871.
Circa 1870, this beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Fancy Striped Capacity Number "1" in Bright Cobalt Blue. Stands 11 3/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. A few small, light scattered stains. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration. Spout tilts slightly to the right in the making.
