Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Jug made and stamped by the "West Troy NY Pottery." 

 

This is the mark used by William Warner of West Troy (now Watervliet) from 1843 to 1871 (private research).

 

Dating to the mid-19th century, this beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Brushed Cobalt Bird on a Branch Decoration.  Stands 14 3/4" tall. 

 

Very Good Condition.  Two chips inside the spout and three chips outside (1/8" to 1/2") (closeup).  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
