    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by the "West Troy, N.Y. Pottery." 

     

    This is the mark used by William Warner of West Troy (now Watervliet) from 1843 to 1871 (private research)

     

    Circa 1880, this beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Stylized Cornucopia Decoration Executed with a Slip Cup.   Stands 14 1/4" tall   

     

    Good Condition.  A 1/2" chip inside the spout, six chips outside the spout (1/8" to 3/8"), and a triangular chip on the bottom at the edge.  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
